Do I need an account?
No. There’s no account and no sign-in. Open the app and start.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone. Arwise has no server and makes no network requests, so nothing you enter leaves your device.
What happens if I lose my phone or delete the app?
Your Arwise data is gone, unless it was included in a backup of your iPhone (iCloud or your computer). Restoring that backup may bring the app’s data back with it.
Arwise doesn’t currently have a way to copy your data out of the app.
Why can’t I raise my limit right away?
Lowering your limit applies immediately. Raising it waits a full 24 hours, with a countdown and a way to cancel.
The delay exists so that the limit you set with a clear head is the one that counts, rather than one changed in the middle of a session. Restriction is instant. Loosening is slow.
Why is my limit $0?
Your limit is a share of what’s left over after your debt payments and living expenses. If those add up to your take-home pay or more, nothing is left over, so the limit is $0.
Check the figures you entered in Budget. If they’re right, $0 is the honest answer.
Does it work on iPad?
Arwise is made for iPhone only and requires iOS 18 or later. There’s no iPad or Mac version. It may run on iPad in iPhone compatibility mode.
Does Arwise connect to my betting accounts?
No. Arwise doesn’t connect to any sportsbook, casino, or betting account. It only uses the numbers you type in. There’s no real or virtual currency and no payments.
